Our measurement process strictly requires customers to collect 5 minutes of ppg data while minimizing hand movements, this is to provide a higher accuracy on the measurement result.
For fasting time more than 8 hours (before meal), if the blood sugar result is returned as "normal", it shows that the blood glucose value is most likely below 6.1mmol/L; if the result is “elevated", it is most likely at 6.1mmol/L or above.
For the user who had meal more than 2 hours (after meal), if the blood sugar result is returned as "normal", it shows that the blood glucose value is most likely below 7.8mmol/L; if the result is “elevated", it is most likely at 7.8mmol/L or above.
We recommend to take a regular measurement, preferably 3 times (or more) within week to meet the minimum requirements for risk assessment.
The first "fasting" or the first "2hrs after meal" measurement result of the day will be used as the basis. The risk assessment result can be obtained by accumulating the measurement results for three days a week.
If the user perform measurement more than 3 days within a week, it will take the most recent 3 days result for the risk assessment.
The posture of the user may cause inaccuracy of result. We recommend that the user to sit on a chair and rest his/her arm on a flat surface, such as a table. Make sure that his/her arm is relaxed and stay still while the measurement is in progress.
